Who is 42?
A fairly typical college student with a blog, 42 lives and goes to school in Chicago during the majority of the year. She studies psychology, sociology, and criminal justice. Yay, social sciences. If she's not in Chicago, she's at home in Indiana, trying not to die of boredom. She is a liberal and an atheist, both contributed to her flight from more rural areas. Her LJ serves as an outlet for fandom squeeing and real life frustrations, either of which would otherwise cause her to spontaneously combust.

Sour neon gummi worms, Barack Obama, veggie burritos from Chipotle, basil, Eeyore, Flamin' Hot Cheetos, INTJs, sunglasses, baseball on warm summer nights, geeking out with roommates and friends, Oak Street Beach (seen above), Northsiders, knitting, cooking, Blue Moon, listening to baseball on WGN, sarcasm, sleeping on a rainy day.
And, of course: The City of Big Shoulders.

Television.
I officially have two great tv loves: The X-Files and Battlestar Galactica.
I also watch The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Arrested Development, South Park, and Reno 911. My tv viewership has seriously dropped off, but I've also been a fan of Heroes, Grey's Anatomy,andHouse.
'Ships? I'll keep it short and sweet: Mulder & Scully. Adama & Roslin. (I used to ship Christina & Burke, as well as Callie & Hahn on Grey's, but that show loves to kill my ships.)
